Met with a lovely couple for a maternity shoot over the weekend/ We did the whole shoot in their apartment overlooking downtown Manhattan. Mom is due on the 28th! Our best to the soon to be new parents!

We got to spend the day with the cutest couple! They met while teaching, she said she found him annoying so it must be love!

I have to say I had a lot of fun, and I am really looking forward to their wedding.

I haven’t been posting much, we have been working like mad to finish the projects that we have before we jump full swing back into wedding season.

I had mention that we are changing blogs, and all of that is happening right now behind the scenes! We have been working on the release of the new site, the new blog and a few changes which has made daily postings a bit hard. We are really excited about the changes yet I was undecided what to do with this blog. We have decided that “a thousand words” will stay with us, even if the content changes a bit.

The strangest thing happened today, I was looking around my blog and I just got a list of comments! Imagine that, 34 in all, although some you would consider spam so we tossed those.

My apologies to anyone who did comment but did not see their comment on the site, guess it was a blogger thing. It is fixed now and I thank everyone who looks & has taken the time to leave us a message.

That’s right we are going to give away photography coverage for a wedding to one couple.

We do this every year but this year I decided to post about it. It is important to me that, when at all possible, we give back and this is my way.

There is no cost to you, no hidden fees.

What will you get you ask? You will receive coverage of your day, a flush mount album and a diskette of your images.

But you still you question, there must be something? Well, ok there is one thing, you will need to pay it forward. That is all I ask of you. When you can, you in turn do something for someone and expect nothing in return.

So…

here are the rules:
-the couple must be getting married in 2007 (2008 couples don’t worry, we will be doing this again for 2008) for a date we are not already booked.
-the couple should already have a location set.
-anyone can nominate the couple as long as you have permission to do so. We will not take submissions that are a “surprise” for the couple.

And here is what you need to do:

– email me at weddinggiveaway@celimages.com
please include: your name, your fiancé’s name, your email address, telephone number (so I can contact you should you be chosen) the date & location of your wedding.
-Also include a picture of both of you together, preferably taken by you or a friend so I can post it when we announce the lucky couple.

You, or whoever is nominating you, should also write explaining why you should be chosen. All writings will be kept private but we may ask to use excerpts from them should you be chosen.

Get creative and send me a picture, tell me about yourselves. We will be picking the winner at the end of February.

The choice of the couple will be decided upon by the staff @ celimages and the decision is final. If by some chance we have a tie then we will post here and ask you to vote.

This ends on February 27th and we will choose our couple on March 1st. Good luck!
