Wedding
This weekend we were at the Buttermilk Inn & Spa in Milton, NY. A lovely wedding involving close knit families and important friends.
The bride, barefoot and gorgeous. The groom handsome and debonair. We were entertained by the Saints of Swing who did a wonderful job keeping everyone on their toes.
Much happiness to the bride & groom!

Wedding
This weekend we were with a lovely couple who were married in the Abyssinian Baptist Church and celebrated their reception at the Glen Island Harbor Club with family & friends.
The bride left no detail unattended from her Vera Wang gown to her Gucci shoes. A gorgeous couple celebrating on a wonderful night.
Much love & happiness to the new couple!

Wedding
We love what we do and I am constantly reminded how lucky we are. Sunday we were fortunate to work with a couple who exhibit a real sense of joie de vive!
The openness, spontaneity, and fun of the West’s created the perfect atmosphere for amazing shots.
There was a lot of tears (the joyful variety), a lot of hugging, an awful lot of kissing, and a ton of photographs.

This weekend I was invited to photograph Michael & Michelle’s wedding. All I can say is ‘Michelle, Michelle, Michelle. What a day!
Michelle & Michael have been planning and waiting for this day for a very long time. The attention to detail, the gorgeous dresses, and care that they both put into the day showed.
Truly a treat as I felt welcomed and more like a guest then a bystander capturing the moments.
From the Rolls Royce to quaint ceremony, to the salsa dancing, to the golden dress, Michelle did not miss a beat. Their love for each other, as well as in their faith, shined brightly on a cloudy, but wonderful, day.

Round 2!
Yesterday, I went back to West Point to shoot a very lovely couple, Lisa and Kevin. Kevin is a Captain in the United States Army, stationed at West Point. Kevin has been stationed, for what seems to me, all over the world and Lisa has dutifully been by his side.
While shooting the wedding I was struck by their generosity of spirit – they truly seemed more concerned that everyone else was having a good time than they themselves. I think there’s a lesson there for all of us.
Anyway…it always gives me a rush to shoot a military wedding. Or, should I say, a West Point wedding. The historic buildings and setting are quite magnificent. And the Hudson never looked better than from the vantage point of Trophy Point on a bright summer’s day.
Here’s to Lisa and Kevin – two people very much in love.
Love that black and white shot!!!! Fabulous!

September 19, 2006 10:31 amIts a shame, that such a fine man is off the market. The bride is one lucky woman, I should have grabbed him during High School.
Good Luck to Mr. & Mrs. Eilets
