Today we were lucky enough to have some of our wedding images featured on an episode of The View (Friday May 18th’s episode). We’d recently shot the wedding of Greg & Laurie (Greg is Judge Judy’s son). The wedding took place at Judge Judy’s beautiful residence in Greenwich, Connecticut.
View pics by going here: http://www.celimages.net/2009/12/22/bar-mitzvah-yankee-stadium-3/. . A few highlights of the day included family photos in Monument Park, portraits in the bleachers with Drew - whose mitzvah it was, seeing our pictures on the jumbotron was pretty cool and surreal at the same time, seeing Drew’s face when Robinson Cano turned up was priceless, and almost as good as when Yogi Berra congratulated him in the montage. Working with Marcy Blum was a special experience - who else could make all this happen? Read her illuminating and very funny remarks on the day here: http://twitter.com/marcyblum . Other notable vendors included florals and decor by Stone Kelly, an amazing and fun cake by Kate Sullivan, video by Milk & Honey (generally you want to kill the videographer by the end of the day, this was our third time this year with these guys and we all get along quite nicely). . Overall a fun event, and a lovely client to work for… some select pics coming soon!! . Alistair
ps I’m sure Catherine has something to say.
We were published in Grace Ormonde, New England edition. Which was nice!
We just got selected for inclusion to an uber exclusive wedding site: Style Me Pretty.com. Visit their Little Black Book to find some great vendors!
We were also noticed, ahem, ‘emerging’ pro for marketing finalist, or something, from the PPA.
One of Alistair’s weddings, shot in 2007, is featured in the fall / winter issue of Wellwed Magazine - available in all good stores now! The 6 page spread includes a nice write-up about the day, the great-looking couple, and the copious good taste on display.
